The adsorption dryer consists of two drying towers filled with activated alumina, molecular sieve or silica gel. When one tower performs the task of drying compressed air, the other tower completes the regeneration process of desiccant. Adsorption dryers can obtain compressed air with a dew point as low as - 40'c / - 40 ° f or even - 70'c / - 100 ° F. There are two types of adsorption dryers widely used in industry: non thermal type and heating desorption type.
